Brianna Randolph

          Director & Producer

Get to know me

I am a student film director and producer based in Greensboro, North Carolina, where I attend North Carolina A&T State University as a Junior.  I am studying Journalism and Mass Communication, and will be a fresh mind graduating in May of 2025.

In a world of creativity,  I use my own personal skills and natural traits to allow my visions to come to life.  I've always been very observant of everything happening around me since a child, meaning that I pay close attention to people's tone, body language, and facial expressions toward situations and other people.  Even to myself.  The pro to this trait, is that I am able to go into a situation or conversation with someone and know how to navigate it in a way they will respect and accept.  In terms of creating, this makes the process of writing directing, and producing so much more exciting because I know how to put together a real, vivid story, with real human emotion, leaving the audience with an attachment to my projects.

Sharing compassion and having knowledge about basic human emotion is what I grew up seeing, feeling, and giving, so when it comes to what people need, no matter who it is, it's in my nature to uplift and motivate them not only for the moment, but for the sake of  longevity.  I don't do this for myself, but for others; and it builds bonds and trust between us that helps the both of us grow.

I'm not afraid to be vulnerable and vocalize how I feel about anything. This ranges from my own silly thoughts to issues that need to be addressed.  I do it in a way that people need to understand, but still remains respectful, so that they are able to receive my message.  I am myself, and I don't allow for anyone or anything to influence me into things that aren't true to my spirit.  People respect that, and they engage with me very often for it.

In everything that I do, even outside of film, I am very intentional, meticulous, and mindful.  These aren't traits that I learned; they were given to me, and I am grateful for that because it strengthens me with the ability to execute with how I feel and think myself.  When it is time to showcase my work, you will feel the emotions I felt, and question the things that I want you to realize/notice.

What I will achieve in this business is giving people the chance to face themselves.  Not just by producing a film or series and passing it on to the next person to change my impact will I achieve this, but by building my own production company from the ground up with people that I trust.  To face everyday issues among ourselves and others, that we don't think anyone else is going through.  To face the current reality of the world, and be able to see that we are our own problem, as the human race.  What we will do together, is see one another again, and do what we can to discontinue the issues, and become better.  Not just by producing a film or series and passing it on to the next person to change my impact will I achieve this, but by building my own production company from the ground up with people that I trust.  Being able to put to work my own acting skills at times, just to do something that I love, that in hope, will surpass the honorable impact that I already make.  I want leave an imprint on people so grand, that they take on a new perspective in life from just the smallest scenes in my work, and help themselves for the best.  I lead with love, and with that, we can only do great things.

Becoming a film and TV producer and director my ultimate career goal
I know that this is the perfect role for me because of my ability to tell a story in its great detail, and give
people the opportunity to view real life in their own way, without the worry of others' opinions.  People are able to take away truth and a new perspective from my creations, and hopefully incorporate the positivity and love into their own lives and others lives.  I understand human emotion and how to appeal to people that may or may not think like me, act like me, or look like me.  My entire purpose in creating film is much greater than entertaining the masses, but bringing us together.  This is a problem that I've noticed in humanity over the years passed.  It is only becoming more evident everyday.  I use my personal life experiences, stories I hear, dreams, and what I see, to tell stories.  I like to take my time to write what I feel because I'm able to look back and remember what I felt at a certain time.  I reminisce a lot, and it adds to my character.  I'm able to remember the simplicities in life, compare them to now, and use them to heal myself and others.  I've been able to create before reminiscing, but this adds a new aspect to my projects.  Editing films and TV is another place where I have experience.  With this part of producing, I can see what's happening in the project, understand the feeling, and know how to present that feeling to my audience. This is what producing is all about.
